Dance workshop festival Out of the Toolbox
Out of the Toolbox is Danspunt’s annual dance workshop festival for makers, teachers and dancers with a sense of creation. Immerse yourself in movement, choreography, styles and methods. Get inspired, learn all about new techniques and afterwards stand on the floor or in front of the class full of self-confidence and renewed energy.

Anne-Lore Baeckeland on tour – teaching dance to children (4-8 years old)
Educational staff member Anne-Lore Baeckeland will be giving a 4-hour workshop on ‘Teaching dance to young children (4-8 years old)’ at various locations across Flanders. How can you keep the attention of young children? How can you let them play and still work on the basic competencies they need for your dance style? With a nod to working with younger children and a link to older children.

Evelien Maes on tour – teaching style-specific dance to children (8-12 years old)
Whether you teach classical ballet, hip-hop, modern, jazz, or folklore, the basic principles to get a group of children dancing are similar. Evelien Maes will outline what is handy to know when you start working with children between 8 and 12 years old.
