Helping people build resilience through dance and movement—that’s the focus of the next Babbels & Knabbels. A conversation with Stephan Marchant and Solange Theys for anyone wanting to place more emphasis on connection and personal well-being in their dance classes, dance workshops, coaching sessions, and more.

What is Babbels & Knabbels (Chats & Snacks)?

Babbels & Knabbels is an initiative by Danspunt that centers around an enjoyable evening with interesting conversations (and snacks!) and a special guest. Be inspired by fresh perspectives and people passing through who shed light on hot topics in new ways. In short, intriguing individuals who balance on the edge of dance and…?

In Conversation with Solange Theys and Stephan Marchant (Thursday 14/11)

Solange Theys and Stephan Marchant share a passion: helping people become more resilient and flourish through dance and movement.

Solange is a choreographer and burnout coach who uses improvisation and butoh to help people reconnect with their bodies. Stephan is a dance and movement therapist, a well-being advisor at KU Leuven, and a lecturer in positive psychology & creative processes. He recently published his first book ‘Dancing Through Life’, an inspiring guide for anyone looking to use dance and movement for personal growth and connection.

How can we reconnect with our bodies, and what are the benefits for our mental well-being?
How can I apply these tools in my dance classes or in my creative sessions as a therapist, coach, or group facilitator?
And how can I focus on the process without losing sight of the end result?

These and many other questions will form the basis of what promises to be an inspiring conversation during Babbels & Knabbels, moderated by Danspunt colleague Anne-Lore Baeckeland. Count me in!
