How does it work?

1) Contact Danspunt at info@danspunt.be, preferably at least four weeks before you want to start the coaching process. Provide a telephone number where we can reach you: we will call, listen to your specific questions and ask about your expectations. That will help us work out who might be the ideal coach for your project or question. We will search our network for the choreographer, maker or dramatist who will be best able to deal with your question and bring out the best in you.

2) The coach will come and visit your location on appointment! He or she will discuss with you or your group what it is you need. The emphasis is on personal contact, constructive mentoring tailored to your needs and an exchange of ideas that everyone feels comfortable with. The advice provided is artistic and content-based: the coach will not teach you new dance techniques or choreographies.

3) All makers, dance schools and groups have the right to 10 hours of free coaching each year through Danspunt. That might be one long session or spread out over several shorter sessions. Do you want more coaching after this session? That is possible, but you will need to organise it yourself: feel free to make a new appointment with your coach.
