Saturday 13 April (14:00-18:30) – “Insiders’ meeting’

Following requests from many dance teachers, we are organising an “Insiders’ meeting”. Dive into an experimental journey focused on one theme, material or object intended to enrich your dance lessons, facilitated by Justine Reeve (UK) and our artistic and educational worker Anne-Lore Baeckeland.

What is the intention?

  • Taking time to question our habits.
  • Taking time to “observe” children and the effect of different tasks.
  • Taking time to exchange ideas, both amongst ourselves and with people from Berlin and Barcelona.

What is going to happen?

The research revolves around awareness of SPACE. What we will do will be decided in consultation at the beginning of the afternoon.

Following an afternoon of brainstorming, investigation, play, invention and trying things out, you will go home with masses of new perspectives that you can develop further within your own practice.

This year’s group will be restricted to a maximum of 12 participants. Are you interested? Send an e-mail to annelore@danspunt.be

Sunday 14 April (10:00-17:30) is an intensive workshop day

Seven teachers will present a range of workshops to support and inspire your lessons with children (and young people too). Choose your three favourite workshops and compile your own programme!

The workshops will be given in different languages, depending on the teacher. We’ll let you know which language each workshop is given in and whether there will be translations into another language.
